Up to 90,000 PLN fines for junk contracts as labour inspections ramp up

Polish Labour Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk announced that the National Labour Inspectorate will conduct large-scale checks on employers using so-called junk contracts — precarious agreements that bypass standard employment protections. New regulations enabling these inspections came into force on Wednesday. Employers found in violation face fines of up to 90,000 PLN.
