Scientists steer laser beams using plasma instead of glass in optical breakthrough

Scientists have developed a technique for steering high-powered laser beams using plasma, bypassing the problem of glass lenses melting or burning under extreme laser intensity. The technology opens up new possibilities for ultra-powerful lasers that previously destroyed conventional optical components. Plasma, being heat-resistant, could replace glass in the optical systems of the most powerful lasers.
