Sleep-Deprived Young Poles Cost the Economy 8.7 Billion Zloty a Year
One third of Poles aged 18–35 sleep six hours or less per night, below the recommended 7–9 hours, according to a report by UCE Research and the ePsycholodzy platform. Experts estimate this costs the economy over 17 million working days and 8.7 billion zloty annually. Sleep deprivation reduces productivity and increases employee absenteeism.
