Lithuanian president warns NATO split looms if members miss 5% GDP defence target
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda warned that NATO faces a split if some member states fail to meet the alliance's 5% of GDP defence spending target. He called for solidarity and firm allied commitments. Lithuania is among the countries already spending heavily on defence relative to its economic output.
