Polish consumer watchdog: You can demand a room change or refund if hotel AC fails
Polish YouTuber Książulo publicised a broken air-conditioning problem at the Hotel Gołębiewski in Pobierowo and demanded a room change or a refund. The Polish consumer protection authority UOKiK confirmed that guests have legal rights in such situations, including the right to request a room change, a price reduction or cancellation of the booking. The authority advises guests to document defects and submit complaints in writing.
