When do students pay ZUS contributions on summer jobs in Poland?

Students taking summer jobs in Poland most often sign a civil contract (zlecenie), a contract for a specific work (o dzieło), or a standard employment contract. Students under 26 on a zlecenie contract are exempt from social insurance contributions but not health contributions. A standard employment contract always requires full ZUS contributions regardless of the employee's age.
