Doctors earning millions: hospital directors pay from public funds with no accountability
Dr Bernard Waśko, director of the National Institute of Public Health PZH, warns that hospital directors paying doctors astronomical salaries are simultaneously the most indebted. These decisions are made with public money, yet directors face no personal financial accountability. The problem intensified dramatically during the COVID-19 pandemic, which Waśko describes as "complete madness."
