Lviv mayor signs €2.5m contracts in Gdańsk — no deals for Polish firms amid dispute
Lviv mayor Andriy Sadovy, uninvited to the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk, organised his own parallel event nearby and signed six contracts worth €2.5 million. None of the deals went to Polish companies, despite an ongoing dispute between Lviv and Polish firm Control Process. Sadovy declared the event a success before flying to Düsseldorf; Poland's foreign ministry has since become involved in the controversy.
