90% of Ukrainians Favor Dialogue with Poland on Historical Disputes – KIIS Poll
Nine in ten respondents in Ukraine support constructive dialogue with Poland on historical disputes and believe those disputes should not affect bilateral relations, according to a poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS). The findings come amid recent tensions in Polish-Ukrainian relations and suggest broad public willingness for rapprochement. The survey indicates Ukrainian society favors keeping history separate from present-day state cooperation.
