Over half of Ukrainians say each country has the right to its own historical narrative
A new survey of Ukrainian citizens shows that over half believe each country has the right to its own interpretation of its history and should not interfere in how another state views it. Only 5% of respondents called for radical solutions to the Polish-Ukrainian historical policy dispute. The poll reveals a broadly non-confrontational Ukrainian attitude toward the sensitive historical tensions with Poland.
