Israel and Lebanon Negotiate "Pilot Zones" Handover in South Lebanon
Israeli and Lebanese delegations are meeting in Washington to discuss a "pilot zones" plan, under which the Israeli military would hand control of parts of southern Lebanon to the Lebanese Armed Forces. The proposal is designed to replace Hezbollah's presence with the regular Lebanese army. The talks were reported by Reuters on Wednesday.
