Deadly H5N1 bird flu has been confirmed in South Australia after a migratory seabird tested positive for the disease. A further suspected case has emerged in Western Australia, involving a southern giant petrel found near Quindalup in the state's south-west. This brings the total number of confirmed or suspected bird flu cases in Australia to at least three.
