Paris heatwave forces Eiffel Tower and Louvre to close at 4 p.m.
Extreme heat in Paris forced the Eiffel Tower to close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, with entry stopping at 12:15 p.m. The Louvre will also shut early at 4 p.m. from Wednesday through Saturday due to the same heatwave. Both landmark venues cited visitor safety as the reason for the reduced hours.
