Polish Labour Inspectorate Reform Gives Inspectors New Wage Order Powers
Poland's reform of the State Labour Inspectorate gives inspectors sweeping new powers, including the ability to issue wage payment orders, according to labour law expert Sebastian Kryczka speaking to tvn24.pl. He described the changes as a "180-degree shift" that strongly strengthens worker protections, though he noted not all existing systemic problems are resolved. Kryczka advises workers to treat a complaint to the inspectorate as a last resort.
