Warsaw Medical University Clinic Fined 300,000 PLN for Skipping 70% of Patients Past Queue
Up to 70% of patients at a clinic within Warsaw Medical University's University Clinical Centre were admitted outside the standard waiting queue, according to the Rynek Zdrowia portal. The National Health Fund (NFZ) imposed a fine of nearly 300,000 PLN for the irregularities found during an inspection. The clinic disputes the findings, stating that admissions were based solely on medical criteria and that inspectors relied exclusively on statistical data.
