Orlen suspends POPiHN membership after industry group criticised windfall tax
Orlen, Poland's largest multi-energy company, has suspended its membership in the Polish Oil and Gas Industry Organisation (POPiHN), according to Business Insider Polska citing an anonymous source. The move follows POPiHN's criticism of the windfall tax on fuel companies' extraordinary profits, passed by the Sejm on Friday. The bill has now been sent to the Senate.
