France Heatwave Kills Two Children Left in Parked Car, 40°C Forecast
France is experiencing its hottest heatwave since records began in 1947, with much of the country under severe heat alert on June 23. Temperatures of around 40°C were forecast for Bordeaux, Rennes and Toulouse. Two children were found dead inside a parked car on June 22, and 40 people have drowned over recent days while trying to cool off.
