Priest denied funeral over unpaid fees and resigned from parish

Priest Andrzej Paszyński resigned from his position as pastor in Starczówek in Lower Silesia after refusing to perform a funeral for a family due to unpaid parish fees. The Wrocław diocese investigated the matter. Parishioners expressed outrage, questioning whether money could rule in the church.
