Świątek beats Bouzkova 7:6, 7:6 to reach US Open fourth round

Iga Świątek defeated Czech player Marie Bouzkova 7:6, 7:6 to advance to the fourth round of the US Open. The match lasted nearly two and a half hours and required two tie-breaks, both won 7:3 by the Pole. Bouzkova led 3:0 and 4:2 in the second set and held three set points but could not close it out.
