NIK: Poland's fire evacuation rules depend on staff count, not building capacity
Poland's Supreme Audit Office (NIK) has called on the Minister of Interior to overhaul fire safety regulations. Current rules require evacuation drills only in buildings with more than 50 employees, meaning venues that can hold thousands of visitors may be exempt. NIK argues the threshold should be based on a building's capacity, not its headcount.
