Teachers' real pay rise in 2027 amounts to just 8–12 zloty a month

Education minister Nowacka has announced a 3% pay rise for teachers in 2027, branding it a "valorisation plus". After accounting for inflation, however, the real-terms increase amounts to just 8–12 zloty a month. The government has also promised to link teachers' salaries to the national average wage — a pledge that has been made repeatedly since 2005.
