European central banks pull gold reserves from US to London
The Dutch and French central banks, along with other European institutions, are withdrawing their gold reserves from North America due to geopolitical concerns. The bullion is being relocated primarily to London, which the World Gold Council identifies as the world's most popular gold custodian. The Bank of England is the main beneficiary of the shift.
