Poland's NFZ to centrally monitor hospital waiting lists from 1 October

From 1 October, Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) will centrally monitor hospital procedure waiting lists under a new regulation that has already entered into force. Patients on waiting lists are to receive SMS notifications about their status. The measure is part of broader health system reforms announced by the health minister.
