Ancient supervolcano found beneath eastern England, last active 454m years ago

British scientists have found evidence of a massive ancient supervolcano buried beneath eastern England, mainly under The Wash bay and the Norfolk and Lincolnshire areas. They estimate it was last active around 454 million years ago. Researchers say it poses no threat to people today.
