Ex-Deputy Minister Proposes 100,000-Złoty Housing Voucher for Having a Child

Bartosz Marczuk, a former deputy minister of family and social policy in PiS governments, is proposing a 100,000-złoty housing voucher tied to the birth of a child. The funds would be earmarked — usable only for a mortgage down payment, home renovation, or building materials. Marczuk argues the scheme would offer genuine support without forcing families into bank debt, unlike current mortgage-based programmes.
