DESI releases largest-ever 2D universe map covering 4 billion objects

The DESI Legacy Imaging Survey has released the largest-ever 2D map of the universe, covering three-quarters of the sky and cataloging nearly four billion objects. The publicly available database includes stars, galaxies, supernovae, gravitational lenses, and much more.
