Poland's Defence Ministry forms new anti-aircraft regiment in Brzesko

Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced on Friday the establishment of the 87th Anti-Aircraft Regiment in Brzesko, Małopolska voivodeship. The unit is to ultimately comprise one thousand soldiers and be equipped with anti-missile, anti-aircraft and anti-drone systems. The minister described it as another layer of protection for Polish airspace against rockets, aircraft and drones.
