Petrol nearing 8 PLN/litre, diesel near 9 PLN after 23% VAT restored

Fuel prices at Polish petrol stations are rising, with analysts forecasting petrol reaching around 8 PLN per litre and diesel approaching 9 PLN. The price surge accelerated after the 23% VAT rate was restored on selected fuels. Further increases are expected in the coming period.
