Nashville airport set to be renamed in honour of Dolly Parton

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and Nashville International Airport (BNA) announced on August 28 their intent to rename the airport in honour of Dolly Parton, who died on August 25 at age 80. During her lifetime, Parton dismissed such proposals as jokes. The governor called the airport the "front door to Music City" and said it should reflect Parton's enduring legacy.
