3,200-year-old inscription may reveal lost city of Ramesses II

Archaeologists discovered a 3,200-year-old inscription at Tell Abu Seifi in Egypt mentioning Ramesses II and describing Horus as the "Lord of the City of Mesn." The find may point to the location of a long-lost ancient city. Ruins of a temple dedicated to Horus were also uncovered at the site, though it was almost entirely destroyed.
