Poland to build 7 billion PLN pumped-storage power plant at Lake Rożnowskie
Poland's largest pumped-storage hydroelectric power plant is to be built at Lake Rożnowskie, with an upper reservoir on a mountain summit. The project is valued at approximately 6.8–7 billion PLN and is scheduled for completion in 2033. The facility is designed to act as a giant "water battery" stabilising the national energy grid.
