One in 20 students in Poland is a foreigner — 210,000 of them are Ukrainian

Nearly 246,000 foreign students are currently enrolled in Polish schools, almost 9,000 more than a year ago, according to a report by the Centre for Citizenship Education. They make up nearly 5% of all pupils, with 86% — around 210,000 — being Ukrainian nationals. The upward trend has continued since the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
