Colombia's president posts video striding past 23 body bags of 'neutralised' guerrillas
Colombian president Abelardo De La Espriella provoked outrage after posting a video in which he walks through rows of 23 white body bags he said contained "neutralised" guerrillas. De La Espriella, who took office last month pledging "all-out war" on illegal armed groups, appeared to be demonstrating fulfilment of that pledge. The footage has been widely condemned as bellicose and performative far-right politics spreading across the Americas.
