18 panels of 19th-century stained glass from St. Mary's Basilica found in Gdańsk

Eighteen panels of an original 19th-century stained glass window from St. Mary's Basilica have been identified in St. Catherine's Church in Gdańsk. It had previously been believed that almost no stained glass survived the 1945 wartime destruction in Gdańsk. The discovery was made by a team led by Marcin Tymiński, spokesman for the Pomeranian regional monuments conservator.
