OpenAI invests $1 bn in cybersecurity, unveils AI that finds zero-day flaws

OpenAI has announced a $1 billion investment in cybersecurity and is subsidising access to its Daybreak security platform for companies in the sector. The company also unveiled its Astra model, which can autonomously discover previously unknown zero-day software vulnerabilities and turn them into working exploits. The move signals OpenAI's push into the enterprise security market.
