Poland to lose 750,000 workers by 2035 — economist warns the real crisis comes after
Eurostat projections show Poland will lose 750,000 working-age people by 2035, with the age structure of the workforce deteriorating significantly. Krystian Jaworski, economist at Credit Agricole, warns that Ukrainian migrants, the activation of older workers and returning emigrants will not be enough to offset the decline. The real demographic crisis, he says, will hit after 2035.
