Hungary spent €827m on overpriced ventilators — prosecutors investigating

Hungary's foreign ministry under Péter Szijjártó spent €827 million on ventilators during the pandemic at drastically inflated prices, buying from newly established companies linked to the ruling camp. Prosecutors have opened an investigation into the affair. It is one of the largest corruption scandals in Hungary in recent years.
