Estonian defence minister resigns over ammunition scandal involving Ukraine
Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur has resigned over irregularities in public spending and a scandal surrounding undelivered ammunition orders for Ukraine, funded with EU money. "I must take political responsibility," Pevkur said. Estonia has been one of the largest per-capita military supporters of Ukraine, making the scandal particularly damaging.
