India rejects Hague court ruling upholding Indus Waters Treaty

India has rejected a ruling by a Hague-based arbitration court that declared the Indus Waters Treaty between India and Pakistan remains in force. India disputed the validity of the arbitration proceedings themselves. The treaty governs the sharing of the Indus River's waters between the two countries.
