WhatsApp Android bug allows gallery preview without PIN or biometrics

A security flaw has been discovered in WhatsApp for Android that can allow a person to view photo thumbnails from the phone's gallery after receiving a call, without entering a PIN or using biometrics. The issue has been reported to both WhatsApp and Google. Users are advised to exercise caution until a patch is released.
