Russian General Varpakhovich seriously wounded in assassination attempt
Russian General Nikolai Varpakhovich was seriously wounded in an assassination attempt in the Saratov region, according to investigative outlet The Insider. The attacker fired two shots at him. Varpakhovich is suspected by Ukrainian law enforcement of ordering the missile strike on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv.
