At Least 14 Serbian Activists Targeted with Advanced Spyware

Serbian digital rights group Share Foundation has revealed that at least 14 people from civil society, including student protesters, were targeted with advanced spyware earlier this year. The infections were discovered in August after Apple notified users in 110 countries of probable mercenary spyware attacks. Share Foundation described it as the largest documented wave of such infections in Serbia to date. The Serbian government denied any involvement in the spying.
