Expert on A1 tragedy: lack of enforcement drives trucks into road crews

Following the A1 motorway crash near Częstochowa — in which a truck driver ploughed into a road repair crew, killing four people and injuring four others — a former police officer told Wirtualna Polska the root cause lies in a systemic failure to enforce traffic regulations near roadworks. He argued that repeated similar tragedies in Poland in recent years point to the same unresolved problem.
