Ozempic and GLP-1 drugs linked to fewer serious infections, including TB
Two recent studies suggest that GLP-1 drugs such as Ozempic may reduce the occurrence or severity of certain serious infections, including tuberculosis. The mechanism behind this effect is not yet fully understood. The findings are preliminary and require further clinical research.
