MyDr data breach: over 2 million Poles checked if their PESEL was leaked

More than 2 million Poles used the Bezpieczne Dane website to check whether their PESEL number was exposed in the MyDr data breach, Deputy Minister of Digitisation Michał Gramatyka told parliament. The ministry has prepared legislative measures to strengthen data protection, particularly for medical records. The MyDr breach involved sensitive health data belonging to millions of Polish citizens.
