Poland files EU complaint against Meta over scam ads featuring Brzoski
Polish minister Krzysztof Gawkowski announced that Poland has filed a complaint against Meta with the European Commission over fraudulent ads using the likeness of public figures including Rafał Brzoski. Gawkowski discussed the matter with EU Commission Vice-President Henna Virkkunen, stressing that the proceedings have dragged on for two years. He noted that an increasing number of EU member states are reporting similar problems with Meta.
