Kremlin propagandists get National Guard protection — and constant surveillance

Russian state television propagandists have been assigned National Guard protection on the orders of Rosgvardiya chief Viktor Zolotov, according to independent outlet Agentstvo. The guards are both protecting and continuously surveilling the state media figures. The move signals growing Kremlin anxiety about the safety of its leading propagandists.
