Sikorski: over 2,000 Russian diplomats in EU, at least 40% are spies

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated at a Weimar Triangle foreign ministers' meeting that Russia has more than 2,000 diplomats in the European Union. He estimated that at least 40% of them carry out activities incompatible with their diplomatic status, meaning they conduct intelligence work. Sikorski called for reducing the number of Russian diplomats across EU member states.
