FBI warns: clicking 'Allow' on Google or Microsoft screens can hand hackers your account

The FBI has issued a warning about a surge in "OAuth consent phishing" attacks, where victims are tricked into clicking "Allow" on legitimate-looking Google or Microsoft permission screens, granting malicious apps full access to their email accounts. Attackers can then read and send messages without ever needing the victim's password. Changing the password does not fix the problem — users must manually revoke app permissions in their account security settings.
