Russian general suspected of ordering Kyiv children's hospital attack wounded in assassination attempt
General Nikolai Varpakhovich, suspected by Ukrainian authorities of ordering the missile strike on Kyiv's Okhmatdyt children's hospital, was seriously wounded in an assassination attempt in Russia's Saratov region. The information was reported by independent Russian outlet The Insider. Varpakhovich is on Ukraine's wanted list for alleged war crimes.
